Hello, I'm Valentina Restrepo, an oil painter hailing from the vibrant borough of Queens, New York. With Colombian roots running deep in my veins, I've always had a profound connection to the world of art, and it's my privilege to share my creative journey with you.

My artistic voyage began at an early age I attended The High School of Art and Design. Those formative years were instrumental in shaping my passion and setting me on the path to becoming the artist I am today. Following my high school education, I continued my artistic exploration at the Arts Students League of New York, an institution steeped with history of creativity and innovation. There, I delved deeper into the craft, refining my techniques, and embracing a wide spectrum of artistic influences.

Now, at the age of 30, my artistic journey has evolved into a unique fusion of styles. Portraits and realism serve as the backbone of my work, as I strive to capture the essence of my subjects with every brushstroke. However, i also like to add surrealism and abstract elements.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist is witnessing the genuine reactions of my clients when they receive their commissioned pieces.
